Guttahalli is a small village in the Kolar district of Karnataka state in India. It is situated about 15 kilometers from Kolar Gold Fields. It is famous for the Lakshmi-Venkateshwara temple. This place is also called Bangaru Tirupathi. The western part of venkatapura became Guttahalli and it is habitant village of venkatapura. Bangaru Tirupati has been modelled after the famous Venkateswara temple of Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh. The temple is known for the festival celebrated during the month of Shravan (July-August).The temple was developed by Ex Revenue minister late M V krishnappa in the year 1963-1964.
