The HTC Desire 610 is an Android-based smartphone designed and manufactured by HTC. The smartphone was announced at Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona, Spain, Australia released the handset on 5 August 2014. It is an affordable smartphone part of the Desire range of mid-range handsets, and is aimed at the same market sector as devices such as the Motorola Moto G, Sony Xperia M2 and Nokia Lumia 735.
Hardware
The Desire 610 comes with a 4.7-inch display with screen resolution of 540 x 960 pixels (234 PPI)[1] or FWVGA 480x854 resolution in USA for the AT&T variant.[2] It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS. It ships with HTC Sense 6 and LTE.[3][4] It has a 2040mAh non-removable lithium-polymer battery.
It comes with a 8 megapixel back-mounted BSI camera with 1080p video recording at 30fps and 720p video recording at 60fps. There is also a 1.3 megapixel front-mounted BSI camera with 720p video recording. The cameras on the Desire 610 can be augmented by the onboard photo editing software provided by HTC Sense 6.0.
