Hate Story is a series of Indian erotic thriller films, produced by Vikram Bhatt and Bhushan Kumar under the banner BVG Films and T-Series. The first film was released in 2012 is directed by Vikram Bhatt,[1][2][3][4] the second film released in 2014 is directed by Vishal Pandya[5][6][7] and the third film which is also directed by Vishal Pandya was released on 4 December 2015.[8][9][10][11] All three films are commercially very successful

With the success of Hate Story 2, producer Bhushan Kumar signed director Vishal Pandya signed a three-picture deal with T-Series Studios.[12] Early casting included actor Sharman Joshi, but he was replaced by Gurmeet Choudhary for a brief period of time[13] due to conflicts with Joshi's schedule.[14] 26 February 2015, Joshi reported that he was prepared for scenes where he would be nude,[15] and on 1 March, he reported that he was enjoying shooting his explicit scenes.[16] Actress Daisy Shah was brought aboard the project through Salman Khan's insistence that producer Bhushan Kumar speak with her about joining the project.[17] Filming ended on 16 October
Casting
Puja Gupta was roped in to do a special song 'Neendein Khul Jaati Hain' in the film.[18] It was shot in October 2015.[19][20]
Hate Story 4 (2017)
After releasing Hate Story 3 , director Vishal Pandya said, “Plans for ‘Hate Story 4’ have already started. It will be made.. maybe we’ll start next year-end. I want the audience to digest all the scenes or dialogues that I had showed in this film. They’ll need at least a year for that. If I give them so much, I don’t know what they’ll end up doing. So planning but before that I’ll be doing another film (Wajah Tum Ho) with (producer) Bhushanji and after that I’ll start Hate Story 4.”[21]
