Helen Shaw (July 25, 1897 – September 8, 1997) was an American actress. She is best known for playing a kindly old woman on such shows as Diff'rent Strokes and Highway to Heaven. She played Steve Martin's grandmother in the 1989 comedy Parenthood. [1] She died in 1997 at the age of 100.
