Henrik Teofilus Scheffer

Henrik Teofilus Scheffer (December 28, 1710 in Stockholm August 10, 1759 in Stockholm) was a Swedish chemist.[1] He is notable for his 1752 survey of platinum, which at that time was just recognized to be an unknown precious metal. His Chemical Lectures[2] (published by Torbern Bergman 1775, third edition 1796) was an essential chemistry study in Sweden.
