The 2009 event had a purse in excess of $125,000, with $1,000 to start the feature and $41,000 to win.[2] As of 2015 the Hillbilly 100 pays $25,000 to win.[3] The event is currently sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.
