Hotel St. Martenslane is a hotel located in the Wyck district in Maastricht, Netherlands. The hotel opened in August 2004 and is part of the La Bergère Group. Hotel St. Martenslane is a crafts themed hotel and was at the time of opening also the first non-smoking hotel in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Concept
The concept of Hotel St. Martenslane is based on self-service. This includes a Grab & Co corner were guests can get useful items via a vending machine using old guilders. Hotel St. Martenslane was the pilot hotel for "Qbic Hotels" which opened in Amsterdam in 2007.[1] In 2014 it was completely redesigned, switching from the pilot 'pod' concept to a new design with crafts as central theme.
