Hockey Night in Asia

Hockey Night in Asia or South China Ice Hockey League is a recreational hockey league in Hong Kong and operated by AsiaSports Limited.

The league consists of four division, 23 teams and 300 players across Hong Kong.

Regular season

The number of games vary, with the 2004-2005 season with a total of 18 games player per team.

Playoffs

The season runs from September to April with playoff ranks starting in February. Division 3 playoffs/semi finals are in March and Division 4 finals in early April.

There are playoffs and teams are invited to the World's Ice Hockey 5's.

Venues

All games were played at Skyrink on the 8th floor of the Dragon Centre, a mall in Sham Shui Po. The rink is normally used for recreation ice skating. In 2007, it was held in the newly opened ice rink of international standard at the MegaBox.

It has played host to ice hockey competitions, including the 2005 Hong Kong International Ice Hockey Tournament.
