In August 2015, the CB150R received a significant update. All parts of the bike are new, including the engine. The single-cylinder engine now displaces 149.16 cc (9.10 cu in), 0.32 cc (0.02 cu in) less than the previous model, making it less powerful than before but has more torque instead. This new engine is shared with the 2016 CBR150R, 2015 Sonic 150R, and 2016 Winner 150. The bike has the all-LED lighting system. The bike is also 7 kg (15 lb) heavier than its predecessor.[1]

2016 update

The update for the 2016 CB150R included new color schemes.[2]
