Hospital CIMA
Hospital CIMA San Jose is a hospital in San José, Costa Rica. The hospital opened in 2000 and was voted the Best Hospital in Costa Rica.[1] It is specifically designed for Americans in Costa Rica. It is part of the CIMA division of International Hospital Corporation (IHC).
History
The original idea of the project was to construct a facility for older people. After some external studies contracted with Peat Marwick, based on the outcomes of the market analysis finally the decision taken was to build a hospital facility rather than a elderly hospice.
