The Hotel Atlantic Kempinski is a luxury hotel in Hamburg, Germany. The five star superior hotel is located in the district of St. Georg, between the Lake Außenalster and the Hamburg Hauptbahnhof. Among other facilities, the hotel has 13 conference rooms, salons and high-ceilinged halls to hold events or meetings.
History
Hotel Atlantic was opened in 1909. Since 1957 it has belonged to the chain Kempinski, and it also belongs to The Leading Hotels of the World.
In 1997, parts of the James Bond movie Tomorrow Never Dies were filmed in the hotel. In May 2008, the facade of the hotel was restored. The hotel was awarded as the best hotel in Germany until June 2009. The general restoration of the hotel began in 2010.
