Hubert Clifford
Hubert Clifford (1904–1959) was an Australian-born British composer and conductor. A native of Bairnsdale in rural Victoria, he emigrated to Britain in 1930 and worked principally on film scores. He also worked at the BBC, rising to become Head of Light Music.
