The ILUG-Cochin is a Free and Open Source Software user group, and is the Cochin Chapter of the Indian Linux User Group community (ILUG). The group was later renamed to Indian Libre User Group retaining the same abbreviation.
The ILUG-Cochin has been active in Cochin since 1997 , and has participated actively at many IT and Free/Open Source Events across the region over the years. ILUG-Cochin regularly organizes meetings to discuss Free and Open Source Software. Meetings are usually organized on the fourth Sunday of every month and announced on the mailing-list.
