Idris Arthur Towill (12 November 1909 – September 1988) was a professional rugby league footballer of the 1930s, playing at representative level for Wales, and at club level for Huddersfield, and Keighley[1] as a Centre, or Stand-off/Five-eighth, i.e. number 3 or 4, or 6.[2] He was born in Bridgend district.[3]

International honours
Idris Towill won a cap for Wales while at Huddersfield in 1932.[4]
Challenge Cup final appearances
Idris Towill played Centre, i.e. number 3, and scored a try in Huddersfield's 8-11 defeat by Castleford in the 1935 Challenge Cup final during the 1934–35 season at Wembley Stadium, London on Saturday 4 May 1935.[5][6]
