History
In 2002, a private Federation of wrestling have appeared in Russia. In November 2002, in Moscow, the Independent wrestling Federation (IWF) held its first championship. IWF is still the only Russian Federation, which not only holds monthly wrestling Championships, occasionally inviting to participate in them foreign fighters, but also engaged in self-training of wrestlers.
Having been to many shows IWF is for sure that the atmosphere that surrounds wrestling, especial, not unlike that which surrounds any other sports and entertainment shows. In the ring the spectators appear fighters, each of which has its own appearance, its own tactics, its own style. In the ring is valid a minimum of rules, which at any moment can be broken. In the ring can happen unexpected turns of the plot, and the wrestlers can use against each other dangerous and extreme methods.

Since 2003, IWF hosts a monthly show "Danger Zone" since 2005, a special annual show "Relied" - with the participation of foreign wrestlers and the "President's Cup" - with the mass elimination match. Since 2010 - annual show "King of Hardcore". From September to December 2006 abridged version of the show "Danger Zone" was broadcast on the television channel 7TV, FROM may 2007 until the end of 2007 on TV "Russian extreme". After that, from may 2008 to mid-2010 and again on the television channel 7TV. Tickets for shows can be purchased at the ticket office of the venue of the show, as well as via the Internet. IWF holds shows in various gyms. IWF perform in Moscow and many cities of Moscow region. In 2013, IWF acted on the largest Russian sports arena - the sports Complex "Olympiyskiy".
