Institute for Political and Military Analysis (IPMA) is a Moscow-based independent non-governmental research organization.
Overview
The organization's main fields of activity are:
- Scientific and practical research in the field of geopolitics, history, political sciences, sociology and psychology
- Monitoring and forecasting of social, economic and political situation in Russian regions, NIS countries and the whole world
- Working out suggestions concerning questions of external policy, recommendations concerning the Military Reform and Reform of Russian Military Forces
- System-defined expertise and consulting about election campaigns
- PR support for projects in the field of policy, sociology and economy
The institute was founded in 1996. Its researchers have given numerous interviews in the global media and published papers in academic journals.
The Head of IPMA is Alexander Sharavin, Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Professor, and member of the Academy for Military Sciences.
