The Cape Ann Transportation Authority (CATA) is a public, non-profit organization in Massachusetts, charged with providing public transportation to the Cape Ann area, consisting of the city of Gloucester and the adjoining towns of Essex, Ipswich and Rockport.

The CATA System is Divided Into the Following Routes and Services
- Green Line Services all of downtown Gloucester, Massachusetts every half an hour
- Red Line Services the area between Gloucester, Massachusetts and Rockport, Massachusetts VIA Thatcher Rd.
- Blue Line Services the area between Gloucester, Massachusetts and Rockport, Massachusetts VIA Lanesville
- Orange Line Services the area between Gloucester, Massachusetts and Magnolia (Massachusetts)
- Purple Line Services the area between Gloucester, Massachusetts and West Gloucester, Massachusetts
- Yellow Line Services the area between Gloucester, Massachusetts and the Blackburn Industrial Park
- The Shopping Mall Express A Shuttle Between Gloucester, Massachusetts and Liberty Tree Mall and Northshore Mall
- Ipswich - Essex - Crane Beach Summertime weekend shuttle service connecting Ipswich MBTA train station with Crane Beach and Essex [1]
