It Is Well With My Soul is a special single recorded by the Hillsong Live team to aid in the January 2011 Flooding In Queensland, Australia. It reached the ARIA Singles Chart Top 100.[1]
Background
On December 2010, it was recorded as Queensland's wettest where isolated flooding started across parts of the state in early December. By 30 December, vast areas of Southern and Central Queensland were affected by the flood. This resulted in 300 closed roads including nine major highways, and coal railways and numerous mine sites were rendered useless due to the flood. The condition also led to a large influx of snakes in Rockhampton area as well as some crocodiles.[2]
