Ivan Herasymov

Ivan Oleksandrovych Herasymov (Иван Александрович Герасимов) (August 8, 1921, Pestrovka, Bashkiria, Russia[1][2] – June 4, 2008, Kiev) was a Russian-born Soviet Union 4 star general, Ukrainian politician and deputy in the Ukrainian parliament (Verkhovna Rada).[3] He was a member of the Communist Party of Ukraine.[2][4]
Herasymov was the oldest sitting member of the Verkhovna Rada at the time of his death on June 4, 2008, at the age of 87.[3]
