J. Gray or Jimmy Gray more commonly known as MC Drunken Monk is an Instrumentalist, Producer, and Rapper from Louisiana, United States currently residing in Oakland, California.[1]
Career
Gray begins his career in late 90's in New Orleans, Louisiana where he was involved in the spoken word poetry scene. He went on to study piano performance at Mt. State University and afterwards at the Jazz School in Berkeley California in the year 2011 when he started collaborating with bay area artist on works of hiphop, triphop, and jazzhop. His company New Age Lions Music LLC is involved in creating audio and visual works of media in the urban genre.[2][3][4]
