Biography

Jamie Clemente was born in 1961 in Pina de Montalgrao, Castellón province.[1] He suffered from eunuchoidal-infantile gigantism. Most of what little is known about him was documented in a 1991 interview with Canal 9, the Valencian community public TV station, in which he highlighted the incommodities of his stature and the burden it meant to his economically-deprived family.[2] For example, most of his clothes were custom made. He tried to join a basketball team when he was 12 years old but he was not successful due to physical limitations. Blocked from a sports career, he lived largely out of the public eye and run a kiosk to sustain himself. He died in Valencia in 2005, aged 44.
