James "Jimmy" Stephenson was an association footballer, from New Delaval, Northumberland. He played as an outside forward in the Football League for Aston Villa, Sunderland, Watford and QPR. His brothers, George and Clem, were also professional footballers; both played for the England national football team.[1][2]
