Jamia Islamia Husainia Gohorpur,[2] also known as Gohorpur Madrasah, is one of the Qawmi Jamiahs of Bangladesh. It was established by Allama Gohorpuri Rahimahullah,[3] after whom the Madrasah is named by Husain Ahmad Madani, in 1957. it controlled most of the other madrasahs in Sylhet, Bangladesh
