Jamie Rose (born November 26, 1959) is an American actress who played Vickie Gioberti in the prime time 1980s soap opera Falcon Crest.[1] Rose played the role from 1981-83, leaving at the beginning at the show's third season. The role was subsequently recast some years later and Rose was replaced by Dana Sparks.
She played the lead in the crime series Lady Blue[2] in addition to frequent guest appearances on television, including Crusade, Criminal Minds, House, Fantasy Island, Hotel, Simon and Simon, St. Elsewhere, Two and a Half Men, Murder, She Wrote, Columbo (episode "Death Hits the Jackpot", 1991), Chicago Hope, JAG, Ally McBeal, ER, Walker, Texas Ranger and NYPD Blue. She also appeared in the 1996 TV movie Lying Eyes.
Book
Jamie Rose's memoir/self-help book about her experiences learning the tango and how it affected her relationship, "Shut Up and Dance! The Joy of Letting Go of the Lead--On the Dance Floor and Off," was released September 15, 2011.[3]
Personal life
In 2006, Rose married actor Kip Gilman. Since September 2007, she has been teaching acting through her JRose Studio in Los Angeles, California.[4]
