Jan Rath
Johann Christoffel "Jan" Rath (born 13 June 1956, Rotterdam)[1] is a Dutch social scientist. He holds a chair in Urban Sociology in the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Rath has contributed to the study of urban structures and processes, as well as their ethnic and religious dimensions, as well as topics such as urban economies, entrepreneurship and business development, commercial gentrification, informalization, and urban public space.
