Jankowice Wielkie [jankɔˈvit͡sɛ ˈvjɛlkʲɛ] (German Gross Jenkwitz) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Olszanka, within Brzeg County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) south-west of Olszanka, 12 km (7 mi) south of Brzeg, and 37 km (23 mi) west of the regional capital Opole.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
The village has a population of 750.
