"(Si Si) Je Suis un Rock Star" was a solo hit for Bill Wyman of the Rolling Stones in 1981. It was placed on his eponymous album of the same year, through A&M Records.[1]

Wyman originally recorded the song as a demo for Ian Dury. He was happy to hand it over to someone else because at that juncture he did not want to make solo records. The problem was that no-one would play it to Dury and it would not be played to other artists because they all thought Wyman should do it himself, so he reluctantly cut the track himself, using an accent he later described as "Cockney French".[2]

The song's highest chart position in the UK was at Number 14,[3] and it spent nine weeks in total in the Top 40.[4]
