Jeff Lynch (born 28 October 1993) is a professional Rugby League footballer who is contracted to the Gold Coast Titans of the National Rugby League. Born in Cowra, Lynch played his junior footy with the Cowra Mapies and the junior Canberra Raiders, a prop or second rower, Lynch had been contracted to the Canberra Raiders and where he captained the Holden Cup team to a grand final in 2012. Lynch had two knee reconstructions and missed half of the 2013 season. Lynch's second game back in the Holden Cup in 2013 he injured his shoulder and required an immediate shoulder reconstruction which put him out of the 2014 NRL season. Lynch went through a stage of depression but pulled through and was given an opportunity in November 2015 where he scored a contract with the Gold Coast Titans where he has explained he would like to make his NRL debut.

Background

Born in Cowra, New South Wales, Lynch played junior football for the Cowra Magpies before moving to Canberra at age 13 to play with the junior Canberra Raiders. Lynch played Canberra Raiders Harold Matthews and SG Ball before being signed to the Canberra Raiders Holden Cup team in 2011-13 and then the full-time squad in 2014. In 2014 Lynch went through a stage of major depression due to his injuries in 2013 and 2014, but with good rehab and help Lynch pulled through and loves life everyday.[1] In November 2015 he scored a full-time contract with the Gold Coast Titans where he explained he wants to get a second-tier contract and then work his way up to making his National Rugby League debut.
