Jerry Vayda (born 1934) is a retired American basketball player.
Born in Bayonne, New Jersey, he was a 6'4" forward who played collegiately at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
As a member of U.S. Air Force, Vayda represented the USA national basketball team at the 1954 FIBA World Championship. He scored 162 points during the tournament, averaging 18.0 points per game.[1]
