Jill Kirby
Jill Christine Kirby (born 29 April 1957)[1] is a former Director of the Centre for Policy Studies think-tank.
Early life
She was born Jill Christine Fernie in Bedford. She attended Rugby High School for Girls.
She studied Law at the University of Bristol, and qualified as a solicitor in 1981. She worked in the City of London in commercial litigation and employment law.
Career
She was Director from 2007-11 of the Centre for Policy Studies, a centre-right think tank.
Personal life
She married Richard Kirby in 1985.
In May 2002 she stood as a Conservative candidate for Southwark Council, and was unsuccessful.[2] She lives in rural Warwickshire.
