Jimmy Menton
Jimmy Menton was an Irish soccer player who played in the League of Ireland during the 1930s.
Menton was a part of the legendary Bohemians amateur team of the 1930s.
Alongside the likes of Plev Ellis, Fred Horlacher and Billy Jordan, Jimmy played in the 1935 FAI Cup Final as Bohs defeated Dundalk 4-3. Jimmy actually put Bohemians 1-0 up in this match by scoring in the very first minute.[1] This match was played at Dalymount Park on 14 April.
