James "Jimmy" Morris (born 1897) was an Irish hurler who played as a midfielder for the Galway senior team.
Morris was a key member of the Galway team during the 1920s, particularly during the successful 1923 championship. That year he won an All-Ireland medal as Galway captured the title for the first time ever.[1]
Morris also enjoyed a successful club career with Gort, winning two county championship medals.
