Jiro Hosotani (born 6 January 1950) is a Japanese male former weightlifter, who competed in the bantamweight class and represented Japan at international competitions. He won the gold medal at the 1977 World Weightlifting Championships and the bronze medal at the 1974 World Weightlifting Championships in the 56 kg category.[1]
