John Kurila (born 10 April 1941) is a Scottish former footballer who played as a wing half in The Football League.
Career
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Kurila most notably played for Northampton Town, as well as playing for Celtic, Bristol City, Southend United, Colchester United and Lincoln City .[1]
Kurila settled in the Northampton area after football — he had two separate spells with the Cobblers — and worked in the building trade, notably as a qualified carpenter. Two of his three children, Mick and Alan, became footballers at non-league level.[2]
