John Wilford Blackstone, Jr.
John Wilford Blackstone, Jr. (December 22, 1835 – October 22, 1911)[1] was an American lawyer and politician.
Born in White Oak Springs, Michigan Territory, Blackstone studied law and was admitted to the Wisconsin Bar. He served as county judge for Lafayette County, Wisconsin and then District Attorney. He served in the Wisconsin State Assembly in 1877 and in the Wisconsin State Senate 1881-1882. He was president of the Blackstone Mining Company. He died in Minneapolis, Minnesota. His father was John Wilford Blackstone, Sr. who served in the Wisconsin Territorial Legislature.[2]
