Josh Newman (born October 17, 1964) is an American politician who has been elected to the California State Senate. He is a Democrat who has been elected to represent the 29th Senate District, encompassing parts of Los Angeles, Orange, and San Bernardino counties. Prior to being elected to the State Senate, he was a veterans' advocate and executive director of a nonprofit for veterans.
