Josiah Humphrey is an Australian software and app developer. He is the co-CEO and Founder at Appster. He was named in the Top 50 Entrepreneurs under 40 in 2013 and his company is less than 4 years old and it has grown into something across the world and 3 continents with over 300 staff members currently.[1][2]
Early life & education
Josiah was born in Auckland, New Zealand. He grew up in Stratford, Taranaki. He attended a number of primary schools, intermediates and high schools as his family moved around New Zealand to find a place that suited their lifestyle. But after New Zealand couldn't provide the ideal home for his family they made the leap to Australia where they settled in Frankston, Victoria.[3]
Career
Josiah’s experience is fairly limited, with his only adult work experience as co-CEO of his own company since August 2011. Before that he incorrectly titled himself as a "director" for Jomar Media from January 2006 until July 2010, despite being 14 years old in 2006. He has many skills that play into what he has been doing at Appster and this includes online marketing, entrepreneurship, strategy, mobile applications, web marketing, online advertising, management, leadership. He also has some experience and knowledge in the areas of brand development, copywriting, user experience, social media marketing, e-commerce, marketing strategies, digital marketing, SEO, strategic planning.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11]
