Joy Ballard
Joy Ballard[1][2] (born 13 October 1966) is the former head teacher of Willows High School in Cardiff.[3] As of August 2015, she is the head teacher of Ryde Academy on the Isle of Wight, having left Willows to be closer to her family. Mrs. Ballard successfully improved the exam results of the school in twelve months as head teacher[4] and was featured in the Channel 4 TV series Educating Cardiff. As a result she has also been featured in the media including This Morning[5] with Eamonn Holmes, Capital FM, the Daily Mirror,[6] The Independent[7] and the Radio Times.[4]
