Junhal
The Jahnal, or sometimes pronounced Janhal are Punjabi tribe found in Poonch District of Azad Kashmir and also Kahuta Tehsil of Rawalpindi District in Pakistan. At the moment Jahnal mainly lived in Sersawa near Kotli and they have in large number in Blouch dist. Sadhonoti. There main links are in Poonch dist. in Tattapani, Baga in Kotli dist. Janhal are divided in aforementioned three dist. and they can also be found in Beor dist. Rawalpindi. They are divided in three regions but yet they are connected and in cooperation by different means. Jahnal,s mostly earn their living from UK, Kingdom of Saudia Arabia, UAE etc. and considered as among the most richest in Azad Kashmir presently. Jahnal approximately over 30000 in numbers. The main areas are Sersawa, Baga, Bandor, Tattapani in Kotli, Tattapani, Kunyion, Bathlan, Dinga cheter, Hamrokan,Gor Abad Chamba gali in Poonch and Bloch, Bethok Thalyan in Sadhonot and Beyor Kahuta, Saghri in Rawalpindi.
