KWN33 (sometimes referred to as Stephenville All Hazards) is a NOAA Weather Radio station that serves Stephenville and surrounding cities . It is programmed from the NWS Fort Worth office with its transmitter located in Dublin. It broadcasts weather and hazard information for the following Counties: Bosque, Brown, Comanche, Eastland, Erath, Hamilton, Hood, Mills, Palo Pinto, Somervell, and Stephens.
Throughout early 2009, all NOAA Weather Radio Stations within the North Texas region (including KWN33) began airing a monthly 15 minute talk show titled "The Lightning Bolt" where listener-submitted questions related to weather are answered by meteorologists.[1]
