"Kalapati" is the first of the two-part episode of the drama anthology Maalaala Mo Kaya which features the life of former senator Benigno Aquino, Jr. and former president Corazon Aquino aired last January 23, 2010 starring Piolo Pascual and Bea Alonzo. This episode chronicles the love story of Ninoy and Cory from their younger years, their marriage until the proclamation of Martial Law
Plot
Benigno Aquino, Jr. (Piolo Pascual), a journalist met the young Corazon Cojuangco (Bea Alonzo). Both came from both prominent families in Tarlac. Their courtship ended in their marriage on October 11, 1954. Ninoy entered politics and Cory had a new life as the politician's wife until the Martial Law years
