Kanika Dhillon is an Indian film dialogue writer and screenwriter known for her works in Bollywood. She is also known for as well as novels; her debut novel, Bombay Duck is a Fish, was published in 2011.[1] Kanika Dhillon's upcoming book Bombay Duck is a Fish takes a dig at the film industry. Dhillon is associated with Red Chillies Entertainment company for works such as Ra.One.[2][3]
Personal Life
Kanika Dhillon was born in Amritsar, and studied at St. Stephen College, Delhi, St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai and the London School of Economics. She has written the hugely successful TV show for Disney called Ishaan. The serial has been such a big hit with kids that the channel has already begun work on season two. Further, her sitcom, Ghar Ki Baat Hai, was nominated for the best comedy series developed for Red Chillies Entertainments and NDTV Imagine.[4] In August 2014, she married Prakash Kovelamudi, son of Veteran film maker K. Raghavendra Rao.
