Katy Elementary School

Katy Elementary School is a public primary school located at 5726 George Bush Avenue in Katy, Texas, United States. It is a part of the Katy Independent School District.

The school was named a National Blue Ribbon School in 2006.[1]

History

A one-room school house opened in 1898 in Katy, Texas. In 1965 a new campus opened on the same plot of land. The campus, Katy Elementary, received an expansion and renovation in 1989. In 1995 the school received another addition.[2]
