Kaulsdorf-Nord (Berlin U-Bahn)

Platform of the station

Kaulsdorf-Nord is a Berlin U-Bahn station located on the U5.

The station opened in July 1989, just a few months before the fall of the Berlin Wall. The eastern extension of (what is now) line U5 was one of the last major construction projects of the former German Democratic Republic. In the beginning the name was Albert-Norden-Strasse, but as Norden was a SED politician it was changed 1992 to Cecilienstrasse and then to Kaulsdorf Nord. [1]
