Kavak Yelleri (literally "Poplar Winds", English title: Daydreaming[1]) is a Turkish youth drama television series produced by TIMS Productions. Kavak Yelleri is remake of the American show Dawson's Creek [2] It was broadcast on Kanal D from 2007 to 2011.[3] Soundtrack songs of Pinhani are Turkish soundtrack classics.
The series follows a group of friends growing up in the small town of Urla and afterwards in İstanbul when they move there. The main characters since the start are Aslı Zeybek (Vildan Pelin Bekiroğlu), Deniz Akça (İbrahim Kendirci), Mine Ergun (Aslı Enver) and Efe Kaygısız (Dağhan Külegeç). Su (Ceren Moray) and Güven Karakuş (Sarp Apak) were introduced in later episodes.
Final episode of 2 season, Aslı's lover Efe dies in car crash. 3 season, Aslı met thief Güven after 4 years, then they felt love each other. 4 season, Efe return, he actually didn't die. But he is terminally ill. Efe dies in final episode of season. 5 season, Aslı's and Efe's son born. Mine's and Deniz's girl born. But Deniz abandoned them for 5 years. Mine forgive Deniz. Güven get out of prison and fall love a girl.
Aslı is doctor. Mine is interpreter. Efe has got restaurant. Deniz want be director. But he is photographer.
Mine grew up in Germany. Her nicknames are "German" and "Sue Ellen". She didn't know who his father. She found his father. After a short time, he died in crash. Mine and stepsister saved. She was previously married to a adult man.
Aslı's nicknames are "Lamb" and "Blue Eyes". Her father is thief. Her sister has got a baby from Deniz's married father.
Efe's nickname is "Original Man".He didn't want to be police like his father, his brother. Due to He got a lot tattoos. He felt love his brother's teacher lover. But She marry his brother. Efe felt love Su. He has got a tattoo which "Aslı" writing on his heart.
Deniz's nickname is "Sea boy". After Mine and Aslı, Deniz felt love a girl.But she died. Deniz kiss Aslı forcibly when will marry Mine. Mine learn in wedding.
Güven makes friend Efe. Long time,but He didn't know Aslı's died lover. Güven made together Aslı and Efe.
The theme song of the series is 'Hele Bi Gel' by the band Pinhani.
