Kharkhari Nahar
Kharkhari Nahar is a village located at the outskirts of Delhi, India, with a population of around 2000. The village is located 2.5 kilometres (1.6 mi) from Najafgarh. It is a semi-rural village located in the National Capital Region (NCR).
There is a community centre on the outskirts of the village, a meeting centre in the middle of the village, and a temple on the opposite side of the primary school. It is home to professors, lecturers,scientists , commissioned officers,teachers, junior commissioned officers, doctors, businessmen, politicians, and farmers, and 90% of the population is literate.90% people from the village are working in govt jobs.
Kharkhari Nahar connects the adjacent areas of Surheda, Khaira, Kharkhari Jatmal, and Paparawat. The village mostly consists of the Ahir community. Brahmins Vats are Located in front side of this village. It has well-developed roads and a good drainage system. It is among one of 24 villages of Delhi which have yet to get submerged into the main urban area. There are still farms in the village, which makes it greener and less polluted than the surrounding area.
During latest developments village will be part of Master plan 2021 'R' zone, which will witness lots of developments in coming days. Dwarka Part-II will be coming up around the village which will bring up lots of development around the village.
