Khayyam Institute of Higher Education, Mashhad

Khayyam Higher Education University (KHEU) was established in 1992, as a response to the high demand for higher education, by many interested students in studying at higher education level in The Islamic Republic of Iran . This university is running by private sector and receives no financial aid from the government. It is self-financed by the private budget and fees, which receives from the students with the confirmation of Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran. The board of trustees is the top governor of the university. KHEU is a comprehensive university on its own right with many faculties and offers various degrees in Bachelor and Master levels. Khayyam University has achieved high standard of education amongst the non-governmental universities Khayyam has over 49 full-time, 12 part-time academic members and 256 sessional instructors with about 5000 students. Students are studying in 25 different subjects in 5 major programs of science, literature and humanities, engineering, art and architecture and administrative sciences Khayyam University offers and three different degrees such as Higher National Degree (HND), undergraduate (bachelor's degree) and postgraduate (master's degree). Until now more than 6000 students have been graduated from this University. The faculties in the University are: Faculty of Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Architecture and Faculty of Humanities. Each faculty consists of different departments. Khayyam University is functioning in two campuses, the main campus is located in Fallahi Blvd and the new campus is in the Elahia region. There are several laboratories, covered Sport Saloon and Computer Sites. During 19 years of educational experience at Khayyam University, we have achieved utilizing scattered capacities and advancing quality of higher education. Khayyam digital library has been established and accessible for all the staff and students, which is an open system. The electronic administration process which is running in Khayyam is called Peyvand Administrative Automation and is the latest digital system in the world. Khayyam invites and welcomes all students who wish to continue their further education in the variety of programs in this University. Khayyam University is responsible, by all the administration means, to the needs of students. Two decades experiences highlight the outstanding achievement in the promotion of higher education, which plays an effective role in materializing the goals and objectives of the 21st century, the age of knowledge as declared by noted scholars' world over.

The Faculty of engineering is located in Elahiyeh campus. The faculty offers B.S and A.D degrees in electrical engineering, computer engineering and mechanical engineering.

The Faculty of science is located in the main campus. The faculty offers B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Physics and Mathematics.
