Kilcoy railway line
The Kilcoy railway line or Woodford railway line is a disused, partly demolished narrow gauge railway in South East Queensland, Australia. The line extended 55 kilometres from the North Coast Railway at Caboolture to the small town of Kilcoy. As of 2015 all of the line has been removed back to Caboolture, except for a few hundred metres of track at the former Wamuran railway station.
The line opened between Caboolture and Woodford in 1909.[1] The line was extended to Kilcoy in 1913.[2] The line was closed in 1964.[2]
Railway stations on the Kilcoy line included Durundur, Neurum, Royston, Villeneuve, Glenfern and Winya.[3]
