Kilkenomics Festival
The Kilkenomics Comedy and Economic Festival is an economics and comedy festival in Kilkenny, Ireland. Its first session ran from 11 November to 14 November 2010. A second session was scheduled for 2 - 6 November 2011.
The festival mocks banking and political figures while asking for answers.[1] The festival also features its own currency known as "the marble".[2]

2010
The festival included notable economists, commentators, and comedians. Economists included: David McWilliams, Bill Black, Martín Lousteau, Ha-Joon Chang, Vilhjlmur Bjarnason and Philippe Legrain. Commentators included John Lanchester, Peter Antonioni, Fintan O'Toole, Constantin Gurdgiev, and Olivia O'Leary. Comedians included: Des Bishop, Colin Murphy, Karl Spain, Fred MacAulay, Neil Delamere and Barry Murphy. The festival was sponsored by Penguin and Today FM.[3] The festival sold-out and was well received.[4]
2011
The 2011 session is scheduled for 2 November through 6 November 2011. Attendees will include: Colin Murphy, Karl Spain, Fred MacAulay, Des Bishop, Neil Delamere, Barry Murphy, David McWilliams, Olivia O'Leary, Fintan O'Toole, Shane Ross.[5]
