Kodalu Diddina Kapuram (Telugu: కోడలు దిద్దిన కాపురం) is a 1970 Telugu drama film directed by D. Yoganand. It was produced by National Art Theatres of Nandamuri Trivikrama Rao, brother of N. T. Rama Rao.
This film has some excellent songs, including "Nee Dharmam Nee Sangham Nee Desam Nuvu Maravoddu Jaatini Nadimi Neetini Nilipina Mahaneeyulane Maravoddu" penned by famous Telugu poet C. Narayana Reddy in the voice of P. Susheela.
Plot
NTR and Jaggayya are brothers. They are very rich. Savithri gets married to Jaggayya, the elder of the two brothers. Jaggaya has all bad habits - drunkard, gambler and visits his mistress Vijayalalitha every night. NTR is considered a mischievous person. The story is about how Kodalu Savithri suffers for half the film and takes care of everything in the house in the second half. Vanisri is daughter of their servant. NTR falls in love with her.
